Sustained Momentum Intensive
A Two-Day EMDR Intensive for Focused Depth and Continued Movement
A trauma-informed EMDR intensive for clients who want more continuity than a single day can offer — without rushing into deeper work faster than their nervous system can hold.
Investment: $3,600
2-Day EMDR Intensive | 6 Hours per Day
Maybe one day feels too short, but a longer intensive feels like more than you need.
You may have one or two connected experiences that keep showing up.
A memory that links to a belief.
A recent trigger that connects to something older.
A relationship pattern that keeps repeating.
A body response that needs more time to settle than one session can hold.
The Sustained Momentum Intensive is designed for clients who want focused EMDR work with enough time to return, continue, and integrate across two days.
This is not about pushing harder.
It is about giving the work enough continuity to unfold without forcing your system to move faster than it is ready to go.
When one day may not be enough room
Some experiences are clear enough to focus on, but connected enough that one day may feel too compressed.
The Sustained Momentum Intensive gives us two protected days to work with one or two related targets while allowing space for reflection, regulation, and integration between sessions.
Traditional weekly therapy can be deeply supportive, but when trauma work is spread across weeks, it can sometimes feel like you are opening the work, closing it quickly, and then trying to return to it later. This format creates more continuity so we can stay with the work while it is active.
This is not about rushing the process.
It is about giving focused healing enough time to keep moving.
This intensive prioritizes:
Continuity over rushing
Depth without overwhelm
Focused processing with room to return
Integration between days
Momentum that still feels grounded
You have one or two connected memories, events, triggers, or patterns.
You want more depth than a single-day intensive can offer.
You benefit from time to process, rest, and return to the work.
You want continuity without committing to a three- or four-day intensive.
You are looking for focused trauma processing that still includes spacious pacing.
The Sustained Momentum Intensive may be right for you if…
Real-world examples:
A breakup that also brings up abandonment or rejection
A work situation that triggered an old belief
A recent event connected to a childhood pattern
A relationship dynamic that keeps repeating
A memory that links to one or two core beliefs about yourself
A trigger that feels specific, but not isolated
This may not be the right fit if…
The Sustained Momentum Intensive is focused, but it is still a contained two-day experience.
It may not be the best fit if you want to process one very specific target in the most contained format possible. In that case, the Core Focus Intensive may be enough.
It may also not be the best fit if your trauma feels complex, developmental, relational, or connected across many years. If the work needs slower pacing, more spacious integration, or deeper body-based support, the Deepening Intensive or Comprehensive Healing Experience may be more supportive.
This intensive is also not crisis care and does not include emergency or on-call support.
You do not have to decide this alone. We will talk through what fits during consultation.
What is included in the $3,600 Sustained Momentum Intensive
Two days of EMDR Intensive Therapy
Two 6-hour intensive days focused on one or two connected targets.
Built-in regulation and integration breaks
Breaks are included throughout each day to support nervous system safety, grounding, and emotional pacing.
Continuity across days
The two-day structure allows us to return to the work with more steadiness instead of opening and closing everything within one day.
Focused treatment planning
We clarify the target or connected targets, strengthen resourcing, and pace the work based on your nervous system’s response.
Integration between intensive days
You will receive guidance for how to care for yourself between Day 1 and Day 2 so your system has space to settle.
Follow-up integration support
A follow-up integration session supports reflection, regulation, and next steps after the intensive.
Important note:
Required preparation is completed before the intensive. Preparation sessions are billed separately at $150/per session.
How the Sustained Momentum Intensive unfolds
Phase 1: Preparation
Before the intensive, we clarify what you are bringing into the work, assess readiness, identify the target or connected targets, and build the resources your nervous system may need.
Phase 2: Day One — Opening the Work With Care
The first day creates space to begin focused EMDR processing while tracking your nervous system response. We move carefully, with breaks and grounding built in.
Phase 3: Between-Day Integration
After Day 1, your system may continue processing through emotions, body sensations, dreams, fatigue, tenderness, or insight. You will have guidance for rest, grounding, and care before we return to the work.
Phase 4: Day Two — Returning With Momentum
The second day allows us to continue the work with more continuity. We can return to what opened, process what is ready, and support closure without rushing the ending.
Phase 5: Follow-Up Integration
After the intensive, we meet to reflect on what shifted, what still needs care, and what next steps may be supportive.
The goal is not to leave you open and overwhelmed.
The goal is to help your system process, settle, and carry the work back into your life.
What a typical EMDR intensive day may look like
Each day is thoughtfully structured to balance depth, pacing, and nervous system safety. Timing may be adjusted based on clinical need and how your system is responding.
9:00–10:30 a.m. — EMDR Processing Block
10:30–10:45 a.m. — Integration Break
10:45 a.m.–12:15 p.m. — EMDR Processing Block
12:15–1:15 p.m. — Extended Rest & Integration Break
1:15–3:00 p.m. — EMDR Processing Block
3:00–3:15 p.m. — Integration Break
3:15–4:00 p.m. — EMDR Processing Block
4:00–4:30 p.m. — Debriefing, Grounding, and Closure
Breaks are therapy.
Rest is part of the work.
Pacing is part of the treatment.

Why choose two days instead of one?
Sometimes one day is enough. And sometimes, one day can feel like you are just beginning to reach the deeper thread when it is time to close.
A two-day EMDR intensive gives us more continuity. There is time to begin, pause, rest, return, and continue with more steadiness.
This can be especially helpful when one issue connects to another — like a present-day trigger that links to an older belief, a relationship wound, or a pattern you have been carrying for a long time.
This is not about choosing more time just because it is available.
It is about choosing the amount of support your system can actually use.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Sustained Momentum Intensive
Is this covered by insurance?
No. EMDR intensives are private-pay services and are not billed to insurance.
Do I need to know exactly what I want to process?
You do not need to arrive with perfect clarity. During preparation, we will clarify whether this intensive is the right fit for one or two connected targets.
Is this emotionally intense?
It can be. EMDR processing may bring up emotions, body sensations, memories, fatigue, or tenderness. The two-day format allows space for pacing, breaks, and integration.
Why would I choose this instead of Core Focus?
Core Focus is best for one clearly defined target. Sustained Momentum may be more supportive when the concern feels connected to another memory, belief, relationship pattern, or emotional response.
Why would I choose this instead of Deepening?
Deepening may be more supportive when the trauma feels layered, relational, or connected across several experiences. Sustained Momentum is best when the work has some depth, but still feels focused enough for a two-day container.
What happens between Day 1 and Day 2?
Your system may continue processing after the first day. You will be encouraged to rest, reduce unnecessary stress, hydrate, eat nourishing food, and use grounding or regulation practices.
What happens after the intensive?
You will complete follow-up integration support to reflect on what shifted, support nervous system regulation, and identify next steps.
You do not have to lose momentum every time the hour ends
If you have one or two connected experiences that feel ready for deeper attention, the Sustained Momentum Intensive may offer the time, pacing, and continuity your system needs.
You do not have to know for sure before reaching out.
We will talk through your goals, readiness, and nervous system needs during consultation.
